Munawar Faruqui To Join Khatron Ke Khiladi 12 Team In Cape Town; Comedian’s Passport Issue Resolved-REPORTS
It has not been easy for Munawar Faruqui and he has certainly come a long way. While he has rekindled his success with Kangana Ranaut’s Lock Upp, the reality star will be seen participating in Khatron Ke Khiladi 12. However, leaving for Cape Town might be a tad bit difficult owing to passport issues. 

Previously, it was speculated that he has been dropped from the show. However, his team has now confirmed that Munawar is indeed a participant on the show, but will join later. The shoot begins next month.


The entire who's who of the show has reached there and this has led to speculation galore whether Munawar is going or not. Well, ETimes has an update about the same and has found that it was Munawar's passport that had derailed his trip. His manager Nitin confirmed and said, "Munawar will be travelling this week. He is going to Khatron Ke Khiladi 12," reported IndiaToday.

When asked about Munawar's passport issue, Nitin shot back, "That has been resolved."

Interestingly, on May 29, Munawar Faruqui was seen in Mumbai with his girlfriend. He also shared updates about his shows in Mumbai and even posted a video on his Instagram stories that showed crowds cheering for him as he walked to the stage.

Hence, fans began to speculate that the comedian had dropped out of Khatron Ke Khiladi 12. However, his team confirmed to a media portal that he is still a participant but will join later.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Munawar Faruqui will make his acting debut with a music video. In the project, he will star alongside his girlfriend, Nazila. Shot in Chandigarh, the music video is titled Halki si Barsaat. It has been crooned by Saaj Bhatt.


Munawar Faruqui gained fame after he won the first season of Kangana Ranaut-hosted Lock Upp. The show also featured runner-up Payal Rohatgi, Babita Phogat, Zeeshan Khan, Azma Khan, Poonam Pandey, Kaaranvir Bohra, Ali Merchant, Mandana Karimi, Nisha Rawal, Sara Khan, Vinit Kakar, Swami Chakrapani, Tehseen Poonawalla, Siddhartha Sharma, Prince Narula, and Chetan Hansraj.
